Meetings
Purpose: To hold effective and efficient meetings that are critical to keep each team on track to meet their goals. It’s well known that meetings are the biggest waste of the time for most companies so we want to limit the time we are spending in meetings and make sure we are keeping to the following times and agendas.
Daily Standup Meeting (10m)
Check-in. Check-in with the members of the team. (2m)
Public Praise. Rotate through publicly praising each member of the team (3m)
Plan the day in relation to the Success Metric. (5m)
What did our team do yesterday?
What will our team do today?
What are our team’s blockers?
Weekly Team Meeting (60m)
MANDATORY MEETING. Everyone must show up on time and be prepared with their numbers.
Check-in. Check-in with the members of the team (5m)
Voice of the Customer/Employee. Review the any feedback from customers or employees, both positive and negative, and note any issues (5m)
Stoplight Review. Review the Quarterly Objectives and collect the previous Weekly Targets. Set the new Weekly Targets and note any issues (15m)
System Improvement. Review the issues list and address the issues by fixing the systematic issues. (30m)
Closing. Summarize the meeting and close it out (5m)
Monthly Town Hall (60m)
Introduction & Announcements. Introduction of new members of the team and their roles. Make announcements of things coming down the pipeline. (5m)
State of the Union. The CEO addresses the company and speaks about what the company has done in the last quarter and where we are heading in the next quarter and next year. (20m)
Recognition and awards. We recognize the members of the team that have done exceptional work and award those team members. (15m)
Question & Answer. We hold a Q&A for any member of the team to ask questions. (15m)
Closing. We close out the townhall (5m)
